The PVP organized a symposium on the theme, “Tribute to Cardinal Eugene Tisserant” on 12 August 2022 at the Cardinal Tisserant Auditorium. Various exhortations based on this theme were presented on that day. A panel discussion was also held later in the day to hear the voice of the students regarding the aforementioned matter. President of the PVP, Dr. Andrews Mekkattukunnel delivered the introductory speech on Cardinal Tisserant. Archbishop Mar Joseph Pamplani presented the first paper on the topic, “how Cardinal Tisserant influenced in the growth of Syro Malabar Church”. Following this, Dr. Pauly Maniyattu gave a lecture on how Cardinal Tisserant helped in the growth of Syro Malabar Liturgy, Dr. Varghese Kochuparambil gave a lecture on Cardinal Tisserants vision towards Catholic Church, Dr. Varghese Palathingal presented a paper on how Cardinal Tisserant helped in the Canonical growth of the church, Dr. Dominic Vechoor gave a lecture on Cardinal Tisserants priestly formation, Fr. Sebastian Kunnampuram presented a paper on how Cardinal Tisserant influenced the Syro Malankara church, and Br. Augustine Nerrappeil presented a lecture on Cardinal Tisserants insight on Church History and about his writings. And Bishop Mar Joseph Pallikaparambil delivered the final message.
