Rev. Dr Roy Joseph has been appointed as the Director of the Institute of Eastern Canon Law (IECL) at Vadavathoor, Kottayam, which is aggregated to the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome. Dr. Roy Joseph was appointed by Cardinal Mar George Alencherry, the head of the Syro-Malabar Church and the Chancellor of Paurastya Vidyapitham with the approval of the Dicastery for Education and Culture in Rome. He has been teaching at Paurastya Vidyapitham since 2015. Dr. Kaduppil has been a registered attorney in the Kerala High Court since 2005.
