OBS 867 Liturgical Music
Program : Baccalaureate in Theology Semester : S2 Credits : 1.5 Teacher : Kandathikudiyil A. Aim The course aims at introducing both secular and religious music to the students. It deals with the historical development of music and the elementary lessons of classical music, the development of music in the history of the Church, its richness, the duties of the choir, the use of musical instruments in liturgical worship, the necessity and obligation of giving proper training in liturgical music and the precautions that are to be taken in liturgical chants.
