The PVP organized a symposium on “Biblical Languages” on 23 January 2023 for the Licentiate students at Fr. Placid Memorial Hall. Several papers on biblical languages were presented on that day. Various exhortations based on this theme were presented on that day. President of the PVP, Dr. Andrews Mekkattukunnel delivered the introductory speech for the symposium. Dr. Jacob Prasad presented the first paper on the topic, “Greek Language: History and Evolution”, following this Dr. Varghese Mattathil also presented a paper on “Aramaic-Syriac Language: Its historical setting and development”, and finally Prof. Aryel Tsion presented a paper on “History and Revival of the Hebrew language” along with Dr. Cyriac Valiyakunnumpurathe and Dr. Sebastian Kuttiyanickal.
