Aim

Today there is an important and crucial question in the theological scenario: To what extent one’s faith commitments, value commitments, political allegiance, self perception, one’s social-cultural context and worldview influence both the process and content of one’s theology? In fact, this would invite us to enter into a discussion about the content, context, methods and effectiveness of Indian theologizing. This course thus enables the students to become familiarize with the different dimensions of Indian theologizing focusing on. on the one hand, the process and consequences of theologizing and on the other, the life and mission of theologians in the Indian-ecclesial context.
